Job Description
Role Overview
The GM Sales will be responsible for building and leading the sales engine of Collar Check. The role involves team building & leadership, strategic planning, employer & Employee acquisition, sales innovation. The ideal candidate will bring proven B2B/B2C sales experience, leadership skills, and a growth mindset to position Collar Check as the go-to verified hiring platform.
Key Responsibilities
● Sales and operations related to sales
● Build, train, and mentor a high-performance sales team with clear KPIs.
● Develop and execute sales strategies to drive employer and employee acquisition.
● Identify and acquire new business opportunities across corporates, SMEs, and startups.
● Collaborate with marketing for lead generation campaigns, activation drives, and roadshows.
● Forge strategic partnerships with HR consultancies, staffing agencies, and recruitment platforms.
● Drive revenue growth, forecasting, and pipeline management with strong analytics.
● Provide insights to product and leadership teams on market needs and sales innovations.
● Represent Collar Check at industry events, webinars, and networking forums.
● Ensure consistent achievement of sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
● Train the team to give further training to clients
Key Skills & Competencies
● Proven ability to build, scale, and manage sales teams.
● Strong background in sales leadership, business development, and B2B growth.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
● Strong understanding of digital platforms, SaaS, HR-tech, or recruitment ecosystems.
● Data-driven with proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics.
● Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for scaling startups.
Qualifications
● MBA or equivalent degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business (preferred).
● 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
● Experience in HR-tech, SaaS, recruitment, or related industries is highly desirable.
