I work in an Oncology Patient Navigation Program where I support cancer patients and their families throughout the entire care journey—from diagnosis to treatment and follow-up. My role includes guiding patients through complex healthcare processes, helping them understand medical information, coordinating appointments, and connecting them with appropriate resources. I provide compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental emotional support, ensuring patients feel safe, heard, and respected. I actively reduce barriers to care, advocate for patients’ needs, maintain strict confidentiality, and serve as a supportive link between patients, caregivers, and the healthcare team to promote continuity of care and overall well-being.
