Role as Train Operator:Ensure safety compliance while driving the Train is being driven in automatic mode. Ensure continuity and adequacy of brake power and air pressure or pneumatic pressure before taking the train out of depot In case of failure of automatic operation, act as fall-back and drive the train according to driving rules and processes under the supervision of OCC. Reports failure or any technical or passenger related issues to OCC Follow the OCC instructions for incident and traffic management. Role as Station Controller:The station controller is responsible for station management, Efficient working of all station equipment including AFC systems, lifts and escalators. Revenue collection, crowd management and operations of train control system (LATS) from Station Control Room.
