Sales Officer - Retail Agri HDFC Bank New Customer Acquisition: Identify and approach potential individual and business customers for various loan products. Conduct field visits to assess customer requirements and promote loan offerings. Explain loan features, eligibility, documentation requirements, and process flow. Loan Processing: Collect and verify customer documents and ensure complete and accurate applications. Coordinate with credit and operations teams for timely processing and disbursal. Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines during sourcing and documentation. Cross-Selling & Upselling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell other retail banking products like insurance, savings accounts, credit cards, etc. Maintain strong product knowledge to address customer queries and pitch suitable products. Portfolio Management: Maintain relationships with existing borrowers to ensure repeat business and renewals (e.g., gold loan renewals, top-ups). Follow up on EMI payments to ensure portfolio quality and support recovery teams in case of overdue accounts. Market Intelligence: Gather information about competitor products, pricing, and market trends. Suggest strategies to improve market share and customer satisfaction. Reporting & Compliance: Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets across loan categories. Maintain accurate daily sales reports and MIS. Adhere to bank policies, code of conduct, and regulatory norms in all interactions.
