Overall responsibility and accountability of all PPC activities across the business, Releasing Production schedules based on the Customer demand and alignment with stock levels. Managing inventory control, warehouse, distribution and replenishment plans to ensure on-time delivery to both Domestic and export customers. Oversee and manage inventory integrity and review ways to reduce inventory levels and ensure regular stock checks take place and resolve any inventory discrepancies. Ensure that plans, schedules and performance metrics are achieved and regularly report progress to management. Set department objectives and monitor ongoing progress and performance. Tracking of slow moving and obsolete stock. To ensure efficiently and timely management of work orders to meet inventory stock requirements and customer order requirements for both export and domestic customers. Ensure material scheduling strategy and processes are in place and work effectively in order to ensure timely material availability to meet production requirements with minimum stock levels. Take ownership of material planning issues that arise, including over or under delivery and take any follow up actions especially in the event of material shortages that affect production. Ensure the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and inventory accuracy at all times and manage and control inventory levels and movements. Report on achievement of targets and identify any corrective action as required. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to forecast, plan and facilitate on-time materials availability to the production line. Work with cross functional teams to deliver effective solutions. Effectively communicating with drivers, customers, Transporters and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Support the training and onboarding of new dispatch team members. Place Vehicle as per Particular Dispatch Plan. Resolve any dispatch-related issues that arise during the daily operations . Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize route planning and scheduling.
