Responsibilities:- 1. Configuration of FortiGate Firewall mainly according to client topology and features such as Application & URL filtering, Security Profiles, VPN,Data Filtering and file blocking. 2. Configuration of FortiGate Secure SD-WAN using FORTIMANAGER. 3. Strong understanding of network security principles, including intrusion detection and prevention system, VPN setup, and security protocol. 4. Troubleshooting VPN related issues,Routing & Connectivity related issues,Firewall policy issues. 5. Perform Basic Configuration of FortiGate Firewall, perform basic configuration changes,and track or perform regular health checks. 6. Proficient in Configuring and managing various firewall technologies,including WAFs to protect web applications and threats and vulnerabilities. 7. Strong understanding of network security principles, including intrusion detection and prevention system, VPN setup, and security protocol. 8. Ability to respond to security incidents, analyze logs, and implement corrective actions to enhance security posture. 9. Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements(e.g. PCI DSS,GDPR)related to Web application security. 10. Successfully designed and deployed WAF solutions to protect applications from SQL injections, cross site scripting(XSS),and other common attack. 11. Perform regular security audits and assesments of web applicationsand firewall configurations to ensure compliance with security policy. 12. Antivirus Configuration of Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewall mainly VSYS according to client topology and working on Content-ID, User-ID,App-IP. 13. Firewall technologies including general configuration,optimization,security policy, rules creation and modification of Palo Alto and Juniper Firewall 14. Experience in Qualys policy compliance in detecting internal and external threats and vulnerability. 15. Worked on SIEM tool for network/log monitoring and troubleshooting. 16. Experience in working with designing, installing and troubleshooting of Palo Alto firewalls. 17. Installation of Palo Alto (Web Application and URL filtering, Threat Prevention, Data Filtering). 18. Create policies, alerts using SIEM tools(Splunk ,IBM QRadar) . 19. Experience in Configuration ,Management, Deployment, Optimization and Troubleshooting of Juniper Firewall. 20. Performed upgradation of Palo Alto firewall from old platforms to new platforms . 21. Implemented Zone Based Firewalling and security rules on palo alto firewall. 22. Worked on Network packet analyzer tools. 23. Experience with Working on Palo Alto centralized management GUI PANORAMA. 24. Experience on working with migration of both Juniper and Palo Alto Next Generation. 25. Exposure to wild fire advance malware detection using IPS feature of Palo Alto. 26. Configured Site to Site IPSec VPN tunnels and split tunnel to peer with diffrent clients.Routing and Switch protocols:-BGP,OSPF,VLAN,VTP,STP,RIP,RSTP. 27. Firewall deployment,rules Migration,firewall administration,and converting existing rule based onto new Checkpoint and Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewall platforms. 28. Responsible for planning,documenting and implementation of complex firewall and VPN solutions.
