Digiyatra engineering DigiYatra is a digital-identity / biometric boarding system for air travellers in India. It is coordinated by the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), implemented via a not-for-profit joint-venture entity, DigiYatra Foundation (DYF) — involving the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and private airport operators. The core idea: instead of manual identity and boarding-pass checks at multiple airport checkpoints, a passenger can be verified via facial recognition biometrics across all relevant stages: airport entry, security, boarding. It aims to make air travel paperless, contactless, and much faster.
