Collect used instruments from OT/wards and receive them properly. Perform cleaning, washing, and decontamination of instruments. Inspect instruments for damage, rust, and cleanliness.

Pack and label instruments as per standard procedure.Operate sterilization machines (Autoclave, ETO, Plasma, etc.). Maintain sterilization records and batch details.

Store sterile items properly and issue them when required. Ensure proper segregation of clean and dirty areas. Follow infection control and safety protocols. Report any machine faults or damaged instruments to senior. Maintain cleanliness and discipline in CSSD department.

Knowledge of sterilization procedures and medical instruments.

Basic understanding of autoclave and sterilization indicators.

Ability to work in shifts.
