Job Description:

Shift Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution & Site Management:

• Oversee onsite execution of data center projects
• Supervise installation activities and ensure work is completed as per design and timelines
• Handle installation of data center infrastructure (rack systems, cabling, power systems, etc.)
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve deviations promptly

Project Coordination:

• Plan, track, and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
• Coordinate with internal teams (sales, design, factory, purchase) for smooth project execution
• Work closely with external vendors and contractors
• Ensure alignment between project requirements and execution

Quality & Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and safety protocols
• Monitor site activities to maintain compliance with company and client standards

Client Handling & Communication:

• Act as the primary point of contact between client and company during execution
• Interact with clients on-site for updates, approvals, and issue resolution
• Ensure smooth communication and high client satisfaction

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain daily progress reports, installation records, and project documentation
• Ensure proper handover documentation is completed post project execution

Travel & Site Management:

• Travel across India for project execution and monitoring
• Manage multiple sites simultaneously when required
