Job Description
The GM – Sales will be responsible for building and leading the sales engine of Collar Check. The role involves team building, strategic planning, employer acquisition, employee engagement, sales innovation, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will bring proven B2B/B2C sales experience, leadership skills, and a growth mindset to position Collar Check as the go-to verified hiring platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and operations related to sales
- Build, train, and mentor a high-performance sales team with clear KPIs.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive employer and employee acquisition.
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities across corporates, SMEs, and startups.
- Collaborate with marketing for lead generation campaigns, activation drives, and roadshows.
- Forge strategic partnerships with HR consultancies, staffing agencies, and recruitment platforms.
- Drive revenue growth, forecasting, and pipeline management with strong analytics.
- Provide insights to product and leadership teams on market needs and sales innovations.
- Represent Collar Check at industry events, webinars, and networking forums.
- Ensure consistent achievement of sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
- Train the team to give further training to clients.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Proven ability to build, scale, and manage sales teams.
- Strong background in sales leadership, business development, and B2B growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong understanding of digital platforms, SaaS, HR-tech, or recruitment ecosystems.
- Data-driven with proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for scaling startups.
Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in HR-tech, SaaS, recruitment, or related industries is highly desirable.
