Job Title: E-Commerce Accounts Location: Gurugaon Level/Grade: Reporting to: Manager Accounts – E-commerce Key Task & Accountability • Manage end-to-end accounting for multiple e-commerce and Q-commerce platforms / customers including Zepto, Blinkit, Swiggy, Amazon, Flipkart, Distributors and Myntra. • Record and monitor daily sales, returns, cancellations, and adjustments customer/ platform-wise. • Perform complete settlement reconciliations between platform reports, bank credits, and books of accounts. • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for sales, receivables, bank, GST, and TDS. • Analyze and resolve short payments, excess deductions, delayed settlements, and other discrepancies with platform teams. • Maintain reconciliation trackers, aging reports, and debit note follow-ups to ensure timely closures. • Ensure closure of open items to prevent revenue leakage and financial misstatements. • Review GST applicability on sales, commissions, credit notes, debit notes, and logistics charges. • Assist in preparation and reconciliation of GST returns (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B) with platform data. • Track TDS deductions by platforms and follow up for TDS certificates and necessary adjustments. • Support internal and external audits by providing reconciliations, data, and supporting documentation, • Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports covering sales, collections, and platform deductions. • Analyze trends in commissions, discounts, returns, and operational costs to highlight risks and improvement areas. • Provide accurate inputs for monthly close, revenue recognition, and management reporting, • Coordinate with warehouses, supply chain, and sales teams to resolve invoice mismatches, stock discrepancies, and return adjustments. • Work closely with finance, taxation, and commercial teams to align operational data with financial records. • Strengthen SOPs and internal controls for e-commerce accounting processes. • Identify opportunities to automate reconciliations and reporting using Excel tools, ERP features, and process improvements. Academic ft Professional Qualifications • B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent • Familiar with e-commerce operations, payment cycles, and commissions. • Strong analytical and reconciliation skill Experience (Specify if any particular area) 3-5 yrs in B2B E-commerce accounting Proficiency in MS Excel and Tally / ERP / SAP software.
