Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all product development, R&D, and innovation initiatives across the division.
• Define development strategies, road maps, and technical standards aligned with business objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, PLC/software, testing, and production.
• Plan, manage, and monitor project timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to product life cycle processes from concept, design, prototyping, validation, to production release.
• Review and approve technical designs, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, cost optimisation, and product quality.
• Liaise with clients to understand requirements, provide technical clarifications, and support project execution.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors on technical evaluations, sourcing, and development support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 10+years of relevant experience in product design, R&D, automation development, or engineering management.
• Proven experience in leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams and complex development projects.
