CNC / VMC Machine Operator

Job Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines and tools including drills, grinders, milling and lathe.

Read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings and design models to create parts within the tolerances.

Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.

Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to ensure machine performance and reliability.

Conduct quality control tests during and after production to ensure products meet the specified standards.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment according to company protocols.

Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes.

Job Requirements

Diploma in engineering.

3-5 years of experience as CNC machinist, preferably in defence manufacturing.

In-depth knowledge of CNC machinery, tooling and precision measurement tools.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.

A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach.

Strong understanding of safety protocols for manufacturing equipment.

Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.

Should be able to perform under ambiguous situations and withstand stress.
