Assistant operations manager

Assist in planning, organizing, and executing daily tour operations.

Coordinate with travel agents, transport providers, hotels, and local tour guides.

Ensure timely departures, smooth tour flow, and excellent service quality.

Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.

Supervise field staff and ensure they follow company SOPs and customer service standards.

Monitor booking systems and tour schedules, and assist with capacity planning.

Assist in inventory management (vehicles, travel materials, equipment).

Support Operations Manager with budget tracking, cost control, and reporting.

Ensure all operations comply with local tourism regulations and company policies.

Train new staff and support team performance reviews.

Conduct on-site inspections to maintain service standards and client satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.

2–4 years of experience in operations or management within the travel/tourism industry.

Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Good knowledge of popular travel destinations, itineraries, and travel logistics.

Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with booking/CRM systems.

Flexibility to travel and work on weekends/holidays if needed.
